PengOnes

PengOnes are where GATA's history meets AtomOne's future.

Born at the intersection of GATA, AtomOne, and Stargaze, PengOnes marked a new chapter in GATA's ongoing experiments with NFTfi, community rewards, and ecosystem participation.

The collection consists of 3,333 penguins, launched on Stargaze using ATONE. Their design brought together the playful culture of Cosmos NFTs with GATA's continuing exploration of how NFTs can participate in a wider economic ecosystem.

Built to participate

PengOnes are connected to the broader GATA ecosystem through the GATA Reward Hub, where holders can participate in community reward mechanics.

Instead of the original epoch-based distribution model, rewards and participation mechanics now run through the Reward Hub.

Raffle & Rewards
PengOne holders can use their NFTs to participate in the GATA Reward Hub's weekly raffle system. NFTs can be burned to receive raffle tickets, which can then be used for a chance to claim available rewards.

This turns the NFT itself into an active part of the reward system: hold, participate, burn, and redeem.

The Reward Hub also brings GATA's different collections and community activities together in one place, creating a shared system rather than isolated rewards for individual collections.

PengOnes were never intended to exist entirely on their own.

Their story is closely tied to GATA's wider ecosystem of NFTs, validators, delegation, governance, and community experiments. Their connection to AtomOne is particularly significant, reflecting GATA's long-standing involvement with the network and its broader vision for decentralized infrastructure and participation.

Over time, the way PengOnes participate in the ecosystem has evolved.

The original collection mechanics were built around recurring epoch distributions and NFT-based yield. Today, the collection participates in a more unified reward experience through the GATA Reward Hub.
