Studies on the microbiome highlight how the action of the microorganisms living inside us influences not only our physical health, but the very mental equilibrium and character of a person. In light of these recent reflections, then, the human being could be considered a kind of container, driven by the interaction of billions of beings with whom we share the finiteness of our bodies. Within each of us lives an ecosystem that influences us in everything we feel, think and do.

The Microbiome collection is inspired by the idea that humans encapsulate universes of microorganisms, which work together to maintain a well-functioning ecosystem. From infancy to adulthood and old age, the silhouettes in this collection are filled with colors that mingle and empower us, allowing us to reflect, observe, work, grow, endure the challenges of life, and complete the journey of each collective organism.
