Metamorphosis is an interactive generative art collection of 900 pieces, each seeded from a unique photograph from regions around South East Asia. With the exception of a handful of special rare pieces, the subjects are primarily butterflies. Created by Robin (The5thForce), it celebrates the exotic beauty of life on this planet, and also acknowledges its transience. Randomness in the algorithm ensures that the composition will be different on each viewing. The owner is invited to save stills and animations from any rendering that they particularly love.

Other paramaters can be adjusted by using the on-screen sliders, and the 'difficulty' bar is there to help you estimate what your device is capable of rendering smoothly.
